In this position, you will supervise a designated area, and will float to other rooms when staff are away as necessary. You get a kick out of getting to know each child and look forward to seeing them every day. You will perform a variety of tasks such as dressing, feeding, and supervising play time. You build relationships with families and are approachable. Positive yet patient; you ensure every child’s needs are met.
**Qualifications**:
- Positive demeanour with a passion for childcare.
- You have 2+ years work experience within a daycare or a related field.
- Early Childhood Education diploma or degree (Level 3 certification).
- Preference will be given to individuals with preschool teaching experience.
- Management Experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
- First aid certification, and up to date immunizations including COVID 19 are also required.
- This position will also require vulnerable sector check and criminal record check prior to start date.
