We are accredited by the Canadian Accreditation Council and we are proud to be dual licensed as a Residential Facility under the Child, Youth and Family Enhancement Act, and a Residential Addiction Treatment Service under the Mental Health Services Protection Act.
Kihew House, Sturgeon County

POSITION
NWTC is currently recruiting staff who wish to work in a professional environment focused on supporting youth through trauma-informed practice. Duties include maintaining safety, program routines, supporting youth with healthy daily living skills, communication, conflict resolution, recreation, and cultural activities. Developing and maintaining healthy relationships is critical to the relational and supportive environment critical to our work. Shift Supervisors typically work days, evenings and occasionally on weekends.
We are recruiting the following positions for GMT House in Westlock Alberta:
- Full-time home care support for youth who have completed treatment. This position includes 1 week on and week off. This position includes pay for wake and sleep hours where staff are onsite for 7 days/nights on and 7 days/nights off. Training hours are paid at $15.00 per hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Child & Youth care, Social Work, and/or Human Services diploma is essential.
- Knowledge of First Nations culture and ability to speak a First Nations language is an asset.
- Knowledge of the effect of addictions/trauma is an asset.
