Helping Hands Home Support and Nursing is urgently hiring for Care Aide position.

Tuesday am shift - 9:00am - 1:00pm (4hrs)

Thursday am shift - 9:00am - 1:00pm (4hrs)

Friday am shift - 9:00am - 1:00pm (4hrs)

Saturday am shift - 9:00am - 1:00pm (4hrs)

Position is in North Vancouver - Having a vehicle is preferred.

This client do not have CoVid 19

This position requires a caregiver to maintain the activities of daily living for our gentleman client which is ongoing and changing and is 100% nursing. We will run through set physio exercises with client, personal care, light housekeeping. Our client is appreciative and cooperative, cheerful and extremely grateful for all the help we provide them. You could not ask for a nicer clients.

We ensure a safe and healthy environment during this time of CoViD 19.

Responsibilities Include:

- Personal Care
- Light housekeeping
- Charting
- Assurance of safety at all times.
- Set Physio program exercises.
- Companionship
- Must have calm demeanor, patience and cheerful personality.
- Can successfully multi-task.
- Ensuring all areas of concern are noted and reported to the case manager.

We require the following certificates:

- Graduation from a recognized Resident Care Aide/Nursing program which includes a Dementia Care Component
- Registered and in good standing with the Care Aide Registry
- Emergency CPR/AED
- Food Safe Level 1
- W.H.M.I.S Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Must be proficient in the spoken English Language, reading & writing
- Tuberculosis Screening Report

Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
