Working under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager the Quality Assurance (QA) Technician will ensure company and customer quality standards are being met by conducting quality tests, performing inspection checks, calibrating equipment, and communicating test results.
**Responsibilities**:
- Perform regular online inspections for blow molding, filling, and palletizing by ensuring that specifications and corporate requirements are being met.
- Ensure that all non-bulk and bulk chemicals received follow our policies and procedures
- Perform batch analysis on blended products
- Maintain all equipment calibrations that are required by QA
- Perform ISO/C-TPAT audits
- Oversee the super concentrate blending process
- Ensure online inspections are completed on a regular basis, by monitoring and managing the processes of manufacturing of bottles, labels, filling, and the palletizing of products and ensure that they meet the highest quality as per our ISO
- Perform incoming inspection of non-bulk and bulk chemicals by comparing specs that are received against the specifications sheets before aproving
- Perform batch analysis by testing samples to ensure that all batches meet specifications and to troubleshoot the blending process. Recommend corrective action if required
- Maintain data collection sheets, records, and samples for all QA related functions
- Ensure that all calibration equipment is kept to standard and report any off specs to third party for maintenance
- Perform ISO and C-TPAT audits on a regular basis by making sure all procedures are followed as per our SOP
- Monitor held/quarantine stock by ensuring that any rework is carried out according to ISO requirements and respond and report leakers and damaged product to the production supervisor
- Oversee the super concentrate blending process by observing the mixing and blending of chemicals, and then perform the following analytical tests: PH, SPECIFIC GRAVITY, FREEZING POINT, etc.
**Qualifications**:
- College Degree and or equivalent training/experience
- 2-4 years of manufacturing working experience required to perform the functions of the position
- Good communication skills in English, written/verbal
- Ability to interact and communicate with all departments and management
- Strong chemistry concept, and knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques
- Intermediate level of required working knowledge of Word and Excel
- Basic knowledge of AS400 and MS Office
