**Bemac Collision Group is looking for an experienced Glass Technician to join our team.**
- Using primer to prime all damaged areas of windshields and car windows.
- Traveling to various locations to assess as well as repair or replace customers' windshields and windows.
- Removing moldings, wipers, screws, bolts, and clips before glass installation and repairs and replacing them thereafter.
- Injecting resin into small chips or cracks and heating the damaged areas using a heat source.
- Identifying issues that may affect glass installation, such as rust or vehicle damage.
- Removing all dirt and debris from windshields and windows before beginning repair or weatherproofing treatments.
- Remove broken or damaged glass windshields or window glass from motor vehicles, using hand tools to remove screws from frames holding glass.
- Replace or adjust motorized or manual window-raising mechanisms.
- Select appropriate tools, safety equipment, and parts according to job requirements.
- Allow all glass parts installed with urethane ample time to cure, taking temperature and humidity into account.
- Check for moisture or contamination in damaged areas, dry out any moisture prior to making repairs, and keep damaged areas dry until repairs are complete.
- Cool or warm glass in the event of temperature extremes.
- Install replacement glass in vehicles after the old glass has been removed and all necessary preparations have been made.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years of experience in glass repair and replacement
- experience with body and mechanical repairs is considered an asset.
