**Job Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients for cooks.
- Ensure that all kitchen utensils and equipment are properly stored after cleaning.
- Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy service periods.
**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene standards in food handling.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- A passion for the hospitality industry and a desire to grow within the culinary field is a plus.
