**Job Overview**:
As a Shipping/Receiving Assistant at our Italian Restaurant, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all deliveries are received and processed accurately and that outgoing shipments are prepared and dispatched efficiently.

**Responsibilities**:
Accept and inspect incoming shipments, verifying the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders and delivery notes.

Prepare and package outgoing shipments, including to-go orders, catering deliveries, and any returns, ensuring that all items are packed securely and labeled correctly.

Maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts, updating inventory systems and tracking discrepancies or damages.

Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and delivery personnel to resolve any issues related to shipments or deliveries.

Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure that ingredients and supplies are readily available as needed for daily operations.

**Qualifications**:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.45-$26.08 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
