Sherwood Park, Canada Edmonton Residential Aide Placement Service Full time

_**RAPS is Seeking a full time LPN to assist an Individual with Cerebral Palsy (E9)**_
- **Location: Sherwood Park (Near Sherwood Park Mall)**_
- **Hours/Days: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (July & Aug) then moving to 7am-3pm starting in September.**_
- _**Flexibility appreciated for occasional schedule changes or occasional weekend coverage.**_
- We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, experienced, in-home nurse to provide one-on-one care for a non-verbal adult with both physical and cognitive disabilities_
- _Duties include but are not limited to building a trusting relationship with client, oral suctioning, g-tube feeding, manual transfers/mechanical transfers, full vital signs, personal care (changing adult briefs, bathing, dressing), oxygen saturation, basic wound care, facilitate client choice, incorporate mentally stimulating activities, re-positioning, community outings, Provide companionship, emotional support, and stimulation to client. Providing support on outings including client transportation in a wheelchair accessible van needed. _
- Household management including housework and laundry, Creating daily schedules and facilitate activities that are cognitively or physically stimulating will also be required. _
- First-Aid/CPR Certificate is an asset. _
- **Rate of Pay: $25.25/ hour**_

Pay: $25.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

- Day shift
