Apex Valve Services, a division of Apex Distribution Inc., is currently seeking a Valve Technician Field Assistant for our Bonnyville facility. Apex Valve Services is a full-service valve repair company providing our clients with a diversified range of repair, maintenance & modifications including, PM programs, repair/replacement analysis for API, ANSI, and PSV valves with locations throughout British Columbia, Alberta & Saskatchewan.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with strong mechanical skills dedicated to meeting our client’s requirements in our busy locations. Our valve service facilities have consistently experienced an active marketplace and has a strong track record of success. We are a major player in the Canadian valve service market and pride ourselves as customer orientated.

Responsibilities and qualifications include:

- Assisting Techs with valve repairs
- Disassembly, inspection, repair and testing of valves
- Keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventative maintenance functions on equipment
- Within the scope of the job requirements, will be required to adhere and comply with provincial and federal law, company/client policies and procedures as well as safety and environmental regulations
- Professional communication with clients, vendors and co-workers
- Oilfield experience is an asset

Attention to safety, quality and detail is a must and the ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test is required.
