**Project coordinator**
Your role as a project coordinator/administrator is to work cohesively with the estimators and project managers to complete daily tasks.
**Education Requirements**:
Must be a graduate from an administration, architectural course, or have similar job experience.
**Primary Duties and responsibilities**:
Reporting directly to the department manager your responsibilities will include:
- Creating projects, inclusive of but not limited to, job start up, field binders, shop drawings, billing lines, material ordering
- Creating and tracking purchase orders
- Contacting suppliers
- Assisting others with tasks outside of your standard role when needed
- Creating documents, letters, and spreadsheets, (example, tracking and processing shop drawings and material orders)
- Filing documents and electronic files
- **Key Skills that are required for this position**:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in an office setting
- Comfortable working alone and in team settings
- Adaptable
- Willingness to learn new things
- Ability to perform searches to provide information and map locations efficiently
- Ability to work under pressure or with tight deadlines
- Multitasking and organization skills
- Thorough computer skills and use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Prioritizing workloads to complete tasks efficiently
- Recognizing tasks to be done, but not necessarily assigned directly
- Good grammar, punctuation, and editing skills
- Knowledge of office equipment (photocopiers, printers, etc.)
- Proficient in Auto Cadd
**Extra skills deemed as an asset, but not necessarily required**:
- Bilingual
- Knowledge of Jonas Software
- Knowledge of electrical terminology
- This is a permanent full time 40 hour/week position
- 7am - 3:30pm
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
