Luma is looking for Render Wranglers to join our team The Render Wrangler is responsible for helping and supporting the rendering process of our projects by monitoring the Render Farm. Reporting directly to the Pipeline Manager, the Render Wrangler interacts with Visual Effects Artists, Software Developers, IT and VFX producers. This is an entry level but mission critical role. The Render Wrangler is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the rendering processes on the render farm, to ensure established priorities are met, and deliverables are meeting the production deadlines.

- Always enjoyed working in a fast paced atmosphere
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of working with farm management software such as Deadline, Tractor, OpenCue, or similar software a plus
- Knowledge of queuing systems, scheduling algorithms, SQL (MySQL), Qube, Maya, Houdini, Nuke, Arnold and other VFX industry tools a plus
- Knowledge of either FTrack or Shotgun preferred
- Ability to prioritize work, perform multiple tasks and work under time constraints
- A Self-driven, proactive, reliable attitude with a strong sense of urgency
- A high level problem solving skillsExtremely detail oriented and well organized skills
- The willingness to work very flexible hours, including weekends, evenings or graveyard shifts when production schedules require
