**Position Overview**:
As a Heavy Duty Parts Technician, your primary responsibility is to support the service department by accurately identifying, locating, and supplying parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of heavy-duty truck parts and inventory management processes.

This position is based at our Edmonton West branch located on 170th Street.

**Responsibilities**:

- Accurately identify and locate parts for repairs and maintenance, placing orders as needed.
- Receive and verify incoming parts shipments, maintaining organized inventory storage.
- Assist customers with parts inquiries, providing information on availability, pricing, and ordering processes.
- Process parts sales transactions accurately, including invoicing and payment collection.
- Develop a strong understanding of heavy-duty truck components to effectively identify parts.
- Coordinate closely with service advisors, technicians, and other dealership personnel.
- Maintain accurate records of parts transactions and inventory levels, tracking usage trends and informing purchasing decisions.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Class 5 License
- Previous experience in a related role within the heavy-duty truck industry is required.
- Some shipper/receiver experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck parts and components, with the ability to accurately identify and cross-reference part numbers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and track inventory levels effectively.
- Customer service-oriented attitude, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing inventory needs, industry developments, and dealership procedures.
