**Café Associate**

The Café Associate is responsible for greeting customers, taking food orders, and completing sales transactions in a timely fashion.

**Duties**:

- Be familiar with the menu and specials
- Greet customers and assist with questions and answer customers’ queries
- .Take orders for food
- . Provides accurate cashier services, including receiving payments through cash, credit, debit, and gift cards.
- Serve drinks and desserts
- Clear and sanitize tables
- Participate and ensure Health and Safety compliance.
- Clean and maintain work areas as per cleaning schedule.
- Wash and sanitize dishes
- Assist with food preparation duties
- Other duties as required.

Qualification:

- Combination of education and work experiences.
- Good organization and communication skills. Fluent in English. Knowledge of other languages is an asset.
- Positive and friendly attitude.
- Detail oriented. Good numeracy skills. Able to manage time effectively.
- 1-2 years of food handling experience.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Flexible availability. Days, evenings, weekends including holidays as required.
