Manager, Fund Development Systems and Digital

You are a Raiser’s Edge specialist who can be responsible for the integrity of the donor database in assisting the Fund Development department to steward and nurture strong relationships with donors. You will be responsible for ensuring that the team’s tools and technology are optimized to support and improve: fund raising, gift processing, donor stewardship and prospecting.
Your close relationship with the donor data gives you a unique position to lead the Annual Giving portfolio, comprised of the Direct Mail and the On-line Giving campaigns. Working collaboratively with the Manager Marketing Communications and Fund Development Manager, you will develop strategically crafted and engaging campaigns.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Fund Development and Special Events you will work closely with a team of 20 people. We each work independently fulfilling our responsible while working collaboratively as a dynamic team to meet our annual revenue targets.

**Responsibilities**:
Raiser’s Edge database
- In collaboration with the Associate Director Fund Development and Special Events, develop the yearly Raiser’s Edge NXT (RE NXT) operational plan for data management and database systems and support implementation of the plan
- Research, test and evaluate new software and document processes to enhance and streamline operations
- Support the FD team in their learning and development with both new software and the RE NXT strategy
- Train new and current employees in the use of RE NXT, including new functionality rollouts, as well as training on running reports and queries designed to empower users to manage their own data
- Support the FD Operations team with strategic thinking and decision making to streamline processes and document donor information efficiently
- Oversee database processes, procedures and standards ensuring compliance across the Fund Development team including building and maintaining structure and business rules, and looking to maximize efficiency and accuracy
- Provide oversight, expertise, and support to the Fund Development team as it pertains to donations processing, list pulling and management and accurate recording of communications to constituents
- Lead RE NXT database administration and supervisory functions, including database maintenance, user access and security, duplicate record merging, and quality control
- Develop and maintain efficient systems and processes maintaining and monitoring data integrity including data entry, gift processing, prospect research, relationship management and clean-up tasks
- In conjunction with Fund Development Managers, manage the targeting, segmentation, pre/post data analysis and results reporting of all fundraising campaigns
- Create and run complex queries, exports, imports and reports in support of fundraising efforts
- Develop dashboards and RE NXT lists to give the Fund Development team access to data and reporting on fundraising results

Annual Giving portfolio
- Develop, implement and execute the Annual Giving portfolio, including Direct Mail and Digital Direct Response campaigns focused on donor cultivation and renewal
- Deepen donors’ relationship with the YWCA by creating strategies and segmenting donor data to develop impactful digital and print communication and calls to action
- In collaboration with the Manager Marketing Communications, develop online strategy, targets and advertising content to increase annual revenue
- Design, manage, grow and execute the Direct Mail program, incorporating multi-channel appeals and ensuring cohesion with digital campaigns
- Manage the budget (revenues and expenses) for the Annual Giving portfolio and analyze revenue patterns for opportunities and threats

Fund Development team culture
