**Join our dynamic team as a Truck Driver and take charge of delivering freight efficiently and safely across diverse routes In this vital role, you will operate various types of trucks—including tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks—to transport goods to our customers and distribution centers. Your expertise in commercial driving will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. - Safely operate different types of trucks such as tractor-trailers, refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks to deliver freight across designated routes.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
- Plan and follow optimal delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet delivery deadlines.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery statuses, or any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure proper securing of loads on flatbeds or other trailers to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while operating commercial vehicles.
- Assist with special freight handling requirements such as refrigerated goods or hazardous materials when applicable.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel for smooth load & unload operations and inventory management.

- Proven experience in truck driving with a strong understanding of route driving and delivery procedures.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles with a focus on tractor-trailers and other large trucks.
- Knowledge of different trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods; experience with freight handling is a plus.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety standards for commercial driving.
- Excellent navigation skills for planning efficient routes across urban and rural areas.
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections, load securing, and documentation accuracy.
- Physical stamina to handle long hours on the road plus the physical demands of loading/unloading freight.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with dispatch teams and warehouse staff.
