The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring proper inspection, packaging, and protection of outgoing products and ensuring safe and effective use of the work area. Ensuring that deliveries are accepted and processed, verifying delivered items, and ensuring their safe storage.

To ensure success, the Shipping Clerk needs to pay attention to details and be able to organize items. Must be able to perform duties with a high level of accuracy, be efficient and careful not to damage items.
- **Position type**:Permanent full-time
- **Schedule**:Fixed working hours Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- **Location**: 328 Rue Avro, Pointe-Claire, H9R 5W5
- **Salary**:starting at $15.50/h with a salary progression plan (increases after 3 months, 6 months, and 12 months)
- **Benefits**:Group Insurance after 6 months of full-time employment

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:_
- Unload trucks in a timely fashion and stage stock for final receiving.
- Verify quality and condition of stock received.
- Complete verification of incoming stock (quantity, lot #, expiry date, etc.) as per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Load courier trucks at end of day for completed orders.
- Ensure that all skids in racking are well maintained and safely secured.
- Lift, push, or pull items and boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety rules and follow all safety procedures and policies.
- Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment.

**Skills and Requirements**:

- Prior warehouse experience
- A completed high school diploma
- Prior Forklift experience (an asset)
- Bilingual, both written and oral
- Solid computer and math skills
- Detail oriented
- Physical strength and stamina
- Must be able to work both independently and with a team
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds constantly

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.50 per hour
