Sea to Sky Welding is a respected metalworking shop dedicated to creating.

Our work ranges from small market pieces and custom home projects to architectural

elements and public installations. We are passionate about pushing the boundaries of

metal artistry and are looking for a talented and enthusiastic individual to join our team

as an apprentice.

As a Metal Artist Apprentice, you will work closely with our craftsmen

to learn the art of metalworking. This is a hands-on position where you will gain practical

experience in various techniques, including welding, forging, and metal finishing. You

will assist in the creation of custom pieces, participate in design discussions, and

contribute to the overall creative process. You will also help run our new high-definition

CNC table for art purposes and the general needs of our fabrication shop.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the design and fabrication of metal art pieces.
- Help run the CNC table.

- Collaborate with the team to develop innovative designs and solutions.
- Support the installation of large-scale projects.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong interest in art and a passion for creativity.
- Basic knowledge of metalworking tools and techniques is a plus, but not

required.
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced craftspeople.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to handle heavy materials and equipment.
