**What will you work on?**
The Unit Support Worker performs a variety of support functions in accordance with Interior Health policies and procedures such as receiving visitors, telephone answering, completing client documentation, stocking, cleaning and tidying duties. The position assists and transports clients, their personal belongings, equipment, specimens and supplies to and from various locations within the site and reports to the professional staff patient observations and interactions, as appropriate.

**Education, Training and Experience**:
Grade 12, one year recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work effectively with others.
- Ability to keyboard at 40 wpm.
- Ability to organize work.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the job
