Barrie, Canada Western Mechanical Electrical Millwright Services Ltd. Full time

**Position Summary**:
Western Mechanical is hiring multiple full-time Local AZ & DZ Drivers to support the Transportation department at our company in Barrie, Ontario. Local positions are available with long haul and US runs available/optional. Machinery moving and flatbed/float experience is a preferred asset, we are willing to train.

**Required**:

- Valid AZ or DZ licence
- Flatbed/float experience
- Oversized load experience
- Clean drivers abstract
- 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Hard working, team player, and a positive attitude

**Preferred Assets**:

- Knowledge of Load Securement Procedures
- Experience moving machinery
- Heavy lift and hydraulic trailer experience
- Forklift experience
- The ability to communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
- Willingness to occasionally run Canadian and/or US Long Haul if required

**License**:

- AZ Licence or DZ Licence (required)
- Clean driver's abstract (required)
- Forklift Certificate (An Asset)

**Term, Hours of Work and Compensation**:

- 50 hours + available per week, with overtime pay after 44 hours.
- Benefits, GRSP, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) available after 3-month probationary period.
- This is a full-time position.
- The role is entitled to vacation pay and paid statutory holidays.
