**Position Summary**:
The Manager of Fleet Maintenance will manage the operation and maintenance of all fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met, adhere to approved budgets and in line with regulations set out by the Ministry of Labour.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Manage maintenance of 950+ trailers, 450+ trucks, and 90+ forklifts;
- Ensure vehicles are clean, mechanically fit and are available to meet scheduled service requirements;
- Create/maintain strong working relations with third-party fleet services;
- Manage the Tractor/Trailer damage investigations;
- Compile comprehensive report of At-Fault damages for the Safety team for the purpose of training and compliance.
- Maintain and update all fleet vehicle titles, insurance and registration documents;
- Review purchase requests for new and replacement equipment and ensures onboarding is completed with care and precision;
- Plan equipment maintenance to comply with safety regulations;
- Ensure all maintenance activity is performed in line with company and budgetary guidelines;
- Supervise the maintenance team and provide support where necessary;
- Communicate clearly each staff member’s roles and responsibilities and provides support to help staff accomplish assigned objectives;
- Prepare required maintenance reports for senior management;
- Ensure that all maintenance line items are managed within budget;
- Other duties as assigned.

**Position Qualifications**:

- 5-7 years experience in a similar role within the Transportation Industry;
- 1-3 years experience supervising/managing a team;
- Trailer Mechanic LIC an asset, but not required;
- Strong knowledge of Tractor/Trailer parts;
- Knowledge of MTO regulations.
