**Overview**

**The Position**:
The **Field Trainer** will be responsible for designing and facilitating engaging learning experiences and compelling content for our customers and store teams. Reporting to the Director of Sales, Samsung Experience Stores (SES), with daily collaboration with the Training Manager, the Field Trainer will deliver consumer-facing learning sessions across our GTA stores and provide employees with stellar sales skills training to acquire knowledge, skills, and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.

**What you’re responsible for**:

- Supporting the customer experience of our stores by delivering engaging learning sessions
- Schedule and manage facilitation, registration and attendance of learning sessions
- Weekly facilitation of customer learning sessions or experience events (Up to twice a day)
- Drive awareness and engagement around learning sessions across all GTA in-line stores
- Creation of engaging virtual and in-person training content (presentation, video, hands-on demo)
- Collaborate with Training Manager to ensure training material is tailored to key audience segment
- Demonstrate compliance and training excellence through updates and regular reporting as needed
- Assist with internal training projects to strengthen customer service and sales excellence skills
- Provide hands-on training and soft skills mentoring to store employees during store visits
- Foster connections with internal and external stakeholders, identifying opportunities and needs

**To be successful**:

- Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models and training methods
- Excellent knowledge of lessons and curriculum planning, with the ability to storyboard
- Experience in the Wireless Electronics industry is an asset
- Excellent knowledge of Sales Processes and Skills
- Experience in facilitating groups in-person and online using engagement tools (polling, gamification)
- Working proficiency in Webex, MS Teams, and other online training vehicles for internal facilitation
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Ability to write effective copies, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
- Experience with video creation considered an asset
- Ability to travel across the GTA and manage a flexible schedule in field
- Takes initiative with a self-starter attitude, demonstrating excellent time and project management

**To join our team**:

- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, such as adult education, business, organizational development, business administration, communications, etc. is an asset
- Three + years’ experience in training delivery, teaching, coaching and facilitation
- Must possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organization
- Must possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple on-going priorities
- Superior organizational and planning skills are required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
