- As the Election Specialist - Forms, Signs, & Binders you will play a key part in supporting readiness and delivery of the 2025 General Election. You will be responsible for designing and coordinating the printing of all forms and signs required for the General Election, as well as support the testing and implementation of voting station technology solutions. This work will include design work, project management, high quality planning, and the ability to work well under tight deadlines. Primary Duties include:
- Design all forms, signs, and posters for the 2025 General Election.
- Coordinate with both internal and external printing vendors to ensure all print materials are collated, received, and distributed as planned.
- Assist in the planning, development, and creation of voting station kits.
- Support the planning, testing, and execution of all voting station technology hardware and software.
- Ensure all voting station forms align with relevant legislation and corporate standards.
- Develop effective working relationships and collaboration with a variety of partners, both internal and external.
- Respond to changing business requirements, determine options and propose solutions to resolve emerging issues.
**Qualifications**
- A completed 1 year certificate in Business Administration, Applied Business Technology, Economics, Public Administration or related and at least 4 years of related experience OR
- A completed 2 year certificate in Business Administration, Applied Business Technology, Economics, Public Administration or related and at least 2 years of related experience.
- Project management experience considered an asset.
- Experience working in local government and election operations will be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and attention to detail skills with proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
- Success in this position requires strong communication skills, adaptability, and a high attention to detail and stress tolerance.

- Successful applicants must provide proof of qualifications.
- A security clearance will be conducted.

Position Type: 1 Temporary (up to 18 months)
- Location: 2340, 22 Street N.E.
Compensation: Pay Grade 8 $36.58 - 48.91 per hour (2024 Rates)
- Days of Work: This position typically works a 5 day work week, with 1 day off in each 3 week cycle.
Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
