**Salary**: $4,402.49 to $5,590.52 bi-weekly ($114,904 to $145,912 / year)
**Role Responsibilities**:
The Housing Division within the Ministry of ALSS is seeking a dynamic and results-driven professional to lead the delivery and evolution of continuing care capital grant programs across Alberta.
As the Director, Continuing Care Capital Programs, you will lead the planning, execution, and oversight of infrastructure grant programs supporting continuing care. The Continuing Care Capital Program (CCCP) includes Indigenous, Modernization, Small Care Home and Priority Communities streams, as well as legacy programs such as the Affordable Supportive Living Initiative (ASLI).
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Strategic Leadership and Program Development
- Lead the planning, execution, and oversight of continuing care infrastructure grant programs.
- Manage current and legacy funding streams, including CCCP (Indigenous, Modernization, Small Care Home, Priority Communities) and ASLI.
- Capital Grant Management
- Refine program processes and policies to reduce red tape and enhance transparency, efficiency, and value for taxpayers.
- Stakeholder Engagement- Monitoring and Reporting
- Develop and oversee accountability frameworks and performance metrics to track project outcomes, and provide strategic reporting to senior officials and stakeholders.
- Team Leadership and Resource Management
- Lead and support a high-performing team through strategic planning, workload management, and staff development to achieve program and organizational goals.
- Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement in continuing care capital by incorporating best practices, analyzing trends, and responding to review recommendations.
- Collaborate across government and with stakeholders to enhance grant programs, update design standards, and support system-wide transformation.
- Lead and oversee continuing care facility registration, designation, naming and related processes and approvals.
- Outcomes include facility registration services in alignment with legislation and government processes, coordination of accurate and timely ministerial orders and official correspondence with stakeholder agencies, and
- registered facility codes.

**Qualifications**:
**Requirements**:
- University graduation in a related field, supplemented by six (6) years of related experience.
**Related Experience**:
- Capital planning, program management, program development or grant administration, preferably in the continuing care, housing or infrastructure sectors.
- Stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and managing large-scale programs with complex funding structures.
- Leading teams through change.
- Project management, procurement, or contracting.
- Financial acumen, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Alberta's continuing care policies; continuing care design standards and service standards; building standards; and grant frameworks.
Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.
