Working with Richardson opens the door to a world of possibility. We currently have an opportunity for a 15-month term **Credit Analyst** in our **Winnipeg Head Office**. The Credit Analyst contributes to the success of the overall credit team while working closely with the sales, logistics and accounting teams.
**Responsibilities**:
- Complete extensive due diligence and financial analysis, including approval of credit within authority limits and making key recommendations to Senior Management.
- Complete KYC and other compliance functions in order to satisfy regulatory requirements.
- Ownership of the reporting and monitoring functions for the credit portfolio, including the analysis of weekly reporting, providing information and guidance to the accounts receivable and sales teams, escalating urgent items, and ensuring all processes and controls are within corporate policies.
- Develop and maintain customer credit records within accounting systems and databases.
- Review existing credit policies and recommend amendments as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Certificate/Degree/Diploma in Finance and/or Accounting with one year of related experience preferred.
- Credit management knowledge, accounts receivable management and trade credit experience would be an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to facilitate close working relationships between different levels of management, both internally and externally while working toward common goals and objectives.
