**Reporting to the General Manager and Controller; the Construction Supervisor of fencing and landscaping is responsible for management of staff and projects. As the Construction Supervisor, you will be expected to fulfill the following duties; manual labour, site prep and clean up, supply runs, equipment hauling, client communication, communication with management, time management and all safety rules and regulations. You will ensure work tasks are performed safely in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and company policies and that work is performed with a high level of quality and within given timeliness.**

**Working Conditions**

**Responsibilities**
- **Scheduling and planning employees**
- **Scheduling and planning completion of projects**
- **Ensuring all safety forms are filled out**
- **Communicating with management project progress and expenses**
- **Problem solving and finding solutions**
- **Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work area**
- **Load and unload construction equipment on work site**
- **Operate and care for construction equipment and machines, performing daily maintenance**
- **Keep work areas and equipment clean and safe**
- **Follow instructions from management**
- **Read, review and understand site plans provided by engineers**
- **General day to day labour duties**

**Qualifications**
- **High school diploma**
- **5 years’ experience as a general labourer in the construction industry an asset**
- **200 hours skid steer experience would be considered an asset**
- **Class 5 driver's license**
- **Clean driver's abstract is a must**
- **CSTS-0.9**
- **General construction safety knowledge**
- **Strong written and verbal communication skills**
- **Committed dedication to safety; reflected in practice and experience**
- **Strong focus on customer satisfaction**
- **A team player with strong people skills**

- **The ability to work under pressure, within timeliness and within budget**

**Physical Requirements**
- **Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs; occasionally lift items weighing more than 50 lbs. with assistance**
- **Stand or walk for long periods of time**
- **Use arms and hands to reach for, handle, or manipulate objects**
- **PPE will be required, 6” high ankle steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, safety vest and gloves to be provided**

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay
