Cybersecurity Instructor

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Curriculum Development**: Design and update course materials to reflect current industry standards, emerging threats, and best practices in cybersecurity.
- **Teaching**: Deliver engaging, practical instruction to students through lectures, hands-on labs, and real-world scenarios.
- **Student Support**: Provide mentorship and guidance to students, offering personalized feedback to help them succeed.
- **Assessment**: Evaluate student progress through quizzes, assignments, and exams; ensure students are meeting learning outcomes.
- **Industry Trends**: Stay up to date with the latest trends, certifications, and tools in cybersecurity, integrating this knowledge into the curriculum.
- **Collaboration**: Work with the academic team to ensure that course content meets institutional goals and supports students' career paths.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in **Cybersecurity**, **Information Technology**, or a related field.
- **Certifications**:

- Industry-recognized certifications, such as **CISSP**, **CEH**, **CompTIA Security+**, **CISM**, or equivalent.
- **Experience**:

- 3+ years of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity, preferably with hands-on roles in **incident response**, **threat analysis**, **penetration testing**, or **cyber risk management**.
- Previous teaching or training experience is preferred.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $28.00-$50.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
