**WE ARE LOOKING FOR A breakfast Cook 2 (iNTERMEDIATE COOK) to join our culinary team**
***What is expEcted of me in this role?**
- Working an 8-hour breakfast shift starting between 5 am and 10 am each day
- An intermediate cook should have a professional knowledge of cooking ingredients and procedures
- Prepare meals by reviewing recipes; assembling, combining, and cooking ingredients to Hyatt specifications
- Consistently maintain a sanitary and safe kitchen and work environment
- Adhere to proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures; maintain temperature and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) logs as required; and maintain appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all food items.
- Highly motivated, Learning to work multiple stations with the culinary department
- Good team player, Strong communication skills
- Flexible availability to allow most effective scheduling within department
- Valid work authorization for Canada

- 2 years of previous line experience
- Culinary degree or related hotel experience is preferred
- Ability to guide entry level cooks towards most professional approach to work
- Demonstrated knowledge of and skill in ability to safely and effectively operate standard foodservice equipment
