We are currently seeking a **Kitchen Supervisor / Assistant Cook** who will help lead our kitchen operations and ensure smooth service from the back of house.

The Kitchen Supervisor / Assistant Cook plays a key role in supporting the Head Cook and maintaining high standards in food preparation, hygiene, and team coordination.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the preparation and cooking of full meals and individual dishes
- Supervise kitchen helpers and manage daily kitchen workflow
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation in all food preparation areas
- Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering supplies
- Help train new staff on food handling, safety procedures, and recipes
- Maintain food quality and consistency across shifts
- Report directly to the Head Cook or Branch Manager

**Compensation and Benefits**
- **Wage**: $32.60 per hour
- **Vacation**: Two (2) weeks of paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay
- **Overtime Pay**: As per Alberta Employment Standards

**Qualifications**
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen or supervisory kitchen role
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Secondary school completion preferred
- Food Safe certification or equivalent is an asset
