We are looking for someone with a forward-thinking attitude focused on teamwork, client support, and passion for the dairy industry. Agwest encourages our team members to continually grow professionally and to develop their areas of interest. Our practice currently offers ET, IVF, Barn, and Ventilation consulting, Milking Parlour evaluation, business consulting, and employee training on top of our progressive approach to herd health management. We also have an expanding animal technician service to complement our veterinary care.
This position entails providing both routine and emergency primary veterinary care to a variety of large animal patient species on both an individual animal and herd level. Progressive and preventative veterinary consultative services, supervision of support staff, mentoring students, and superior customer service are also key roles as an Agwest veterinarian.
The Fraser Valley is one of the most beautiful places in North America you can practice dairy medicine. We are nestled in a temperate rainforest surrounded by snow-capped mountains, leading to endless recreation activities. The cities of Vancouver (1hr) and Seattle (2.5hrs) are within driving distance for those wanting the amenities of a big metropolis.
