The Audit Committee's role is to assist the Board of Directors in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities in financial reporting, internal controls, corporate integrity and risk management. The Audit Committee is responsible for reviewing and approving the mandate of the WCB's internal auditor, and reviewing and advising the WCB on the annual report and on any audit or investigation under The Workers Compensation Act. As a committee member, you will provide financial and audit expertise to the Audit Committee. **Qualifications**: The ideal applicant will possess all of the following attributes: A recognized professional accounting designation; Financial and accounting experience in a senior management capacity; **Additional Information**: The initial appointment to this position would be for a three year term with the opportunity for renewal. The commitment of the position involves attending four to five committee meetings per year, in addition to the time necessary to prepare for the meetings.
