**Job Summary**

As a Skilled Laborer, you will be responsible for preparing and cleaning up of the shop, set up and remove equipment/materials, helping with manufacturing and insulating the enclosures, helping with installing the perf. Assembling items as they arrive, prepping and painting, helping with the brake and shear area. General helping in all areas of the shop and yard including our Electrical department if needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in basic electrical installation projects with the opportunity for advancement and schooling
- Assist in basic metal fabrication projects with the opportunity for advancement and schooling
- Assist in non-structural welding projects with the opportunity for advancement and schooling
- Complete weld finishing duties
- Perform cleaning and paint preparation duties for various projects
- Perform minor painting tasks as directed by supervisors
- Fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components to create finished products
- Maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time
- Experience with various power tools and equipment
- Have basic tooling such as tape measure, knife, etc. PPE will be provided.
- Ability to Lift 50lbs
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a related manufacturing industry.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong commitment to workplace safety
- Trade school/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Discipline is beneficial.
- Reliable and Punctual

**Salary range**: $23 to $28 per hour

**Day shift: Monday - Thursday 10 hr shifts (possibility for overtime pay)**
