Work with an awesome ownership group who are in-store daily to help with any issues. **Benefits** - 2 weeks paid vacation - Employee Discount Program (Sharing our success) - Opportunities to learn and grow **You will be responsible for**: - Receiving written prescriptions and written or verbal refill requests - Third Party adjudication where required and necessary - Inputting all patient and prescription information into the computer - Performing all tasks related to ordering, receiving and returning stock, expiry date checks, balance owing and inventory corrections - Adhering to merchandising programs, operational procedures, and company policies. - Communicating allergy interaction and relevant billing information to the pharmacist - General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary - Handling customer prescription pick up - Assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy **Qualifications** - Kroll computer experience is an asset. - Previous Pharmacy Experience preferred. - Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant credited course preferred. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office products. **Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour **Benefits**: - On-site parking - Paid time off - Store discount Schedule: - 8 hour shift - Day shift - Monday to Friday **Experience**: - pharmacy: 1 year (preferred) Work Location: In person
