We invest in you** - **Competitive Pay $28.49/hour + $1/hour shift differential**: - Family-owned business over 100 years in service - An opportunity for career advancement, working as part of an empowering workforce. **About the Job** **The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm.** As a Sanitor, you will be responsible for the sanitation of the plant and the upkeep of the grounds/offices surrounding the facility. Our Sanitors adhere to all sanitation standards set up by IFS and Food Safety Policies, follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and our Plant Safety Policies. **What Does It Take to be a Sanitor at Dawn Foods?** Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job. - Able to follow written and verbal instructions in English to follow safety precautions. - Able to work independently. - Experience with GMP's, IFS Standards, understand HACCP programs and plant safety preferred. - Previous experience in industrial/plant manufacturing sanitation preferred. - Able to work effectively in situations involving heights. - No restrictions on working with chemicals (detergents, bleach, etc.) **What You'll Do as a Sanitor** - Completion of tasks in the proper amount of time according to the Master Cleaning Schedule - Accurately keep documentation of tasks performed on the Sanitation checklists. - Deep cleaning and sanitizing of Process/production lines when not in use. - Adhere to all company safety policies, plant policies and plant procedures. - Report malfunction of equipment at once to supervisor. - Maintain work area to include the proper cleaning and storing of work tools and chemicals. **Work Environment** The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a Team Member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee must occasionally use sensory perception for quality measurement of products. - Physical duties involved in performing this position include but are not limited to lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, bending, standing, crouching, reaching overhead and climbing. - This position requires proper sanitation of the equipment, filters, tools and mechanical parts. - Team members must also be able to lift 50-75 lbs., occasionally 100 lbs.
