**Job Summary**:
The Evening Base Area Operations (BAO) Supervisor role will oversee the BAO Cleaners, and reports to the Base Area Operations Assistant and General Managers. The Base Area Operations Evening Supervisor will manage the evening teams, leading evening operations and cleaning of the base areas resort wide.

**Job Specifications**:

- Starting Wage: $20.00 - $25.00
- Schedule & Availability: Full Time / Winter Seasonal
- Outlet: Whistler Blackcomb

**Responsibilities**:

- Directly supervise the evening shifts which includes: orientation and training, conflict resolution, long and short term planning of operation, maintenance of tools and equipment, executing daily meetings, and regular one-on-ones with Lead Hands.
- Familiarity with all aspects of the cleaning operation including the operational budget.
- Conduct and monitor a monthly recognition program with the leadership team for all base area operations staff.
- Work effectively with other department’s mountain-wide as part of a large and diverse team.
- Relay work orders, respond to complaints, adhere to Preventative Maintenance program and monitor quality of cleaning to Upper management.
- Report on our Internal Guest Survey and to implement changes in services provided as needed with manager’s assistance and direction.
- Understand operational procedures and maintenance and parts for all janitorial equipment.
- Assist with successful organization of waste/recycling depots and bear-proof bins.
- Ensure adherence to all operational and safety procedures, resulting in safe and efficient operation of vehicles and other equipment (Trucks, Snowplow, Snow Blower, Bobcat, etc.) and providing a safe environment for guests and staff.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Operating a vehicle is an essential function of this position and will require the applicant to meet the minimum requirements of the WB Driver’s Standards Policy - Valid BC driver’s license and clean abstract.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Problem solver, self-motivated/self-directed.
- Has the ability to work as a team and independently.
- Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check
- Strong communication skills.

**Preferred**:

- Proven leadership skills, planning, ability and vision.
- Previous cleaning experience and employment a strong asset.
- First Aid trained an asset.
- Mental Health First Aid trained an asset.

The budgeted range starts at $20.00 - $25.00. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
