**Job Summary**
Targray is looking for an ambitious Biofuel Feedstock Trader to join our dynamic trading team. In this role, you'll leverage your expertise in the sourcing and sales of fast-moving commodities, including used cooking oil, animal fats such as poultry fat, beef tallow, and choice white grease, as well as various crop-based oils like soybean, canola, and distiller's corn oil. Your efforts will play a crucial role in the production of Biodiesel and Renewable Diesel Fuel (HVO).
As a Jr. Trader, you’ll become part of our growing global biofuel feedstock trading desk, working alongside experienced traders and originators across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. This is a full-time, in-office position based at our Montreal headquarters in Kirkland. The role requires a readiness to travel 10-15% of the time, offering ample opportunities to build your professional network and expertise on a global scale.

**Responsibilities**
- Identify and develop new trading opportunities and supply sources, focusing on the North American market but also engaging with global markets.
- Collaborate closely with our North American and European biofuel trading teams.
- Work alongside Targray’s Risk and Senior Management teams to optimize trading strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Ensure seamless trade execution by coordinating closely with the operations and logistics teams.
- Stay abreast of market trends to seize trading opportunities.

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Strategy, or a related field is required.
- MBA graduate is an asset
- Demonstrated commercial acumen, with 1-3 years of experience in Trading or Sales preferred.
- A proactive mindset with a proven ability to deliver results.
- Strong teamwork capabilities, with proficiency in collaborating effectively in both in-person and remote environments.
