Lead, Pensions Project Delivery

**As a member of the Project Delivery team, you will**:
Lead multiple projects on several strategic and priority initiatives and ensure they are executed effectively and efficiently based on appropriate established project governance
Collaborate and develop strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders of all levels at OMERS
Plan, lead and manage cross-department initiatives, ensuring all activities are understood and completed with high quality results
Establish processes to identify program/project issues and risks, resolves complex project issues and escalates and manage resolution as required
Initiate, develop, and maintain, standards and procedures in support of improved project delivery
Assist in the development of strategies and tools to support the success of the project delivery mandate
**To succeed in this role, you have**:
A university/college degree with a focus in management, operations, or equivalent practical experience
3+ years of project delivery experience with an ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities under tight deadlines with multiple stakeholders
Ability to work with highly detailed and ambiguous information, make recommendations and communicate outcomes to sponsors and stakeholders clearly and concisely
Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and other project management tools
Have a solid understanding of project/change delivery concepts from initiation to closure in agile, hybrid and waterfall delivery modalities
Take initiative, be the driver (rather than being driven) to resolve issues and risks
Conceptual thinker with strong analytical skills, including the ability to research and analyze complex issues and develop insightful solutions while considering risks, costs to the plan and stakeholder’s views
Excellent communications skills, independent thinker and resilient during project challenges
Knowledge of pension plans, systems and processes is an asset
