Our client is looking for a housekeeper with Hotel experience

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years working as a cleaner in a hotel
- Experience organizing laundry, inventory, and storage rooms
- Must possess superior customer service skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent presentation
- Strong literacy skills, both verbal and written

**Responsibilities**
- Self-check and inspect assigned work areas to ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and orderliness of designated areas
- Daily laundry, organizing and folding
- Submit daily inspection and progress reports to the Manager
- Update manager regarding room status, ensuring that guest requirements are met according to hotel policy
- Ensure adherence to hotel policy regarding the security of bedrooms and keycodes
- Ensure all guests behave under hotel policy during their stay
- Daily checking bedrooms and designated staff areas; public areas are maintained by hotel policy
- Assist with team member orientation and training within the department as required by hotel policy
- Attend meetings as requested and contribute new ideas to the operation's overall success
- Maintain standards of punctuality, uniform presentation and personal hygiene as required by hotel policy
- Be familiar with appropriate action to be taken in an emergency
- Ensuring all guest comments and complaints are acted upon under hotel policy
- Carry out jobs as required within the department to reduce workload or meet deadlines or staff shortages
- Maintaining par inventory levels and conducting monthly inventory checks
- Any other tasks as designated by the General Manager
- Ensure room standards are maintained
- Schedule special projects, including seasonal cleaning of all guestrooms
- Ensure purchasing and labour remain within budget constraints
- Help to prepare work schedules to ensure all jobs are covered in assigned areas
- Attend to all guests' questions promptly as required
- event host during and after events to ensure an appropriate level of service
- Confirmation of event orders and organizing event tasks and agenda
- Responsible for the executing/closing of event orders in collaboration with service staff
- Maintain appearance of hotel and private event room and set correctly for next day's functions and service
- Neat appearance and clean uniform required

**About the job**

This is a part-time role, with some weeks being busier than others based on deliverables. You must be available to work ALL shifts.

Must be able to do the following:

- Work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand for long periods
- Can lift 30lbs
- Can stand for long periods
- Use a smartphone

**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Housekeeper (Hotel): 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
