The Specialist also supports the work of Human Resources through education, reporting and ongoing collaborations with Operational and Corporate Services teams.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

- Manage the interview process through preparation of interview guides, panel interviews, employment checks, references and offer letters.
- Proactively identify and recruit top talent in a highly competitive employment marketplace
- Integrate the employment brand through social media, job boards and all communications to ensure attraction of results oriented high performers
- Work closely with the HR Director as it relates to daily recruitment activities, building an external pipeline and the overall recruitment plan.
- Understand the needs of the business. Collaborate with business leaders to provide expertise and guidance
- Drive optimum results improving quality of hire, cost-per hire, leveraging employee referrals and soliciting timely responses and engagement from all hiring managers
- Implement and follow process for creating, maintaining, and updating job descriptions
- Suggest and implement employee onboarding best practices
- Support North American recruitment projects that scope multiple regions/business units
- Continuous improvement mindset and participation in problem solving initiatives and implementation of solutions
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- A post-secondary degree or diploma specializing in human resources or equivalent preferred; CHRP or RPR designations are an asset
- 3-5+ years of Human Resources or Talent Acquisition experience with strong focus on full cycle recruitment, preferably in engineering, automation, or manufacturing industries
- Demonstrated success in sourcing for and filling complex, competitive, senior level roles
- Experience recruiting for technical roles in Engineering, Skilled Trades and Manufacturing preferred
- Experience with North American/International recruitment is an asset
- Proficiency with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong experience sourcing, particularly using LinkedIn
- Previous experience using various recruitment management systems (Workday experience is an asset)
- Strong customer focus and ability to effectively and quickly build relationships
- Exceptional communication (verbal, written, presentation), facilitation, and training skills with experience engaging and partnering at all levels
PHYSICAL AND OTHER ENVIORNMENTAL FACTORS:

- Regularly works in an office setting
- Frequently required to stand, sit, talk and hear
- Must be able to work in front of a computer for a large portion of the day

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
