We are looking for an exceptional individual to join our team in the role of Lead Bindery Operator. This production based role requires a team player with a strong work ethic, drive and ability to balance our extremely high quality demands with the rigorous pace that this industry demands.

The successful applicant must be highly experienced in the finishing of litho and digital work. They must be highly knowledgeable in the setup, operation and maintenance of computerized cutting systems, Stahl folders, saddle stitching, general bindery and digital finishing equipment.

**Job Responsibilities / Duties**:

- Setup and operation of the Polar Cutting System, Stahl Folders, Saddle Stitcher, Drills, shrink tunnels, etc
- Setup and operation of digital finishing equipment
- Perform routine maintenance on bindery and digital finishing equipment to ensure optimal performance and assist in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and meet production deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks and monitor production processes to ensure stringent quality standards are met throughout

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience as a Bindery Operator or similar role in a printing environment
- Mechanically inclined and production-oriented
- Strong understanding of prepress processes and color management techniques
- Ability to operate various bindery and digital finishing equipment
- Basic knowledge of graphic design principles
- Possess good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively in a team environment
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to operating machinery is essential

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
