**About the role**

Reporting to the Director of Construction, the Quality Assurance Coordinator is responsible for managing and executing homeowner warranty repairs with a commitment to the highest quality standards. In this role you will be responsible for addressing and responding to homeowner repair requests. You will collaborate closely with homeowners, the construction team, and external vendors to coordinate repairs, guaranteeing they are completed to top quality standards within designated timelines. This role is essential to maintaining homeowner satisfaction and upholding our dedication quality and exceptional service.

**Starting wage**:$35/hr

**What you’re great at**
- Ability to prioritize and resolve homeowner issues efficiently.
- Empathetic and customer care; making sure homeowners feel heard, valued and taken care of while addressing concerns.
- Strong communication, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple requests and details in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with construction team and external vendors.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Manage and respond to homeowner warranty issues, including coordinating and conducting 30-day and 1 year post purchase reviews.
- Arrange and schedule home visits with homeowners to assess and address repair needs efficiently.
- Repair minor repairs during initial visit, minimizing the need for additional follow ups.
- Collaborate with construction Superintendents and subtrades to manage larger warranty repairs.
- Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) checklist walkthroughs with Site Supervisor’s for newly completed homes, ensuring quality standards.
- Work with Construction Process Manager to provide reporting on department quality metrics.
- Provide feedback to the construction and design team, identifying opportunities to improve the quality of our homes.

**What we’re looking for**
- 5+ years of residential construction experience
- Well rounded construction skills including finish carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Valid drivers license
- Knowledge of mechanical systems is an asset
- Knowledge of BC Home warranty is an asset
