Your Opportunity:
Description:
As a Family Counsellor, you will provide assessment, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up to clients and their families. You will also provide clinical focused consultation with other programs or community resources and acts as a liaison to develop and promote preventative health programs in the community. You will collaborate with other health care providers and community service providers to ensure a continuum of care in the community.

**Required Qualifications**:
Completion of master's degree in a health related field. Active or eligible for registration with the applicable Alberta regulatory college.
**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct family counseling, preferably within an addiction and/or mental health setting. Minimum of 2 years' experience in program development. Knowledge and skills in assessment, DSM-V diagnosis, and interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and other evidence-based modalities. Demonstrates knowledge in Trauma Informed Care and Collaborative Problem Solving. Intermediate computer skills required. Suicide Prevention. Nonviolent Crisis Intervention. A strong ability to work with other professionals is essential.
