**Technical Consultant** Bursting Silver Background Role Overview We are seeking a skilled Technical Consultant (Developer) to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing pre-existing solutions and building new features to support business requirement. Giving back is such an integral part of what we do - Ability to work full-time, unrestricted in Canada or the United States Key Responsibilities The Technical Consultant will be responsible for a range of duties and tasks including, but not limited to, the following: - Design, develop, and implement software to meet business requirements - Customize pre-existing modules and functionalities to enhance system capabilities - Configure and extend a pre-existing platform - Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards using reporting tools - Provide technical support and troubleshooting for our clients - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with organizational goals - Document technical specifications, system configurations, and processes Role Requirements - Minimum 2 years’ experience in a software development or cloud based software configuration environment, ideally in the technology and/or consulting industries - Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, ASP.NET, SQL, JavaScript, angular and HTML/CSS - Understand, build, consume REST APIs - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Excellent organisation skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment What We Offer - Excellent pay & company bonus program, continuously monitored against market data - Comprehensive benefits package provided through Sun Life - Great Place to Work® certified company - Flexible work hours around our core hours - Flexible work locations, remote work & office locations - Regular company social events, games nights, virtual and in-person - Annual fully paid company retreat - Previous destinations include Nashville, Banff, Cabo, New Orleans and the Bahamas - Considerable time off including vacation days, wellness days & other paid time off - Genuine opportunities for growth and development within the company - Continuous, team-based, professional and personal development sessions
