**The Opportunity**:
The role will be serving the community in **Red Deer
- Points West Living Red Deer**. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring top resident care is priority, with an elevated level of focus in time management.

- Strives to attain excellence in Resident, family member and employee care partner satisfaction
- Friendly with a sense of humor and the utmost respect for all internal and external care partners
- Demonstrates strength in building partnerships with Residents, family members, employee care partners, volunteers, external care partners and the community at large to ensure the vibrancy of our community
- Creating an atmosphere that is welcoming, relaxed, and relationship-driven, where everyone feels at home
- Flexible, willingness to prioritize and re-adjust routines, open to change for the benefit of the community
- Excellent time and resource management skills

- Strives to attain excellence in Care Partner satisfaction through ongoing solicitation, surveys, and measurement of feedback
- Implementation of Care Partner suggestions, interactive problem solving, and an annual evaluation
- Flexible to assist with daily life within the Community in a moment’s notice (such as serving meals, light housekeeping in service areas, assisting Residents, supporting spontaneous activities, and leading Learning Circles)
- Engaging in meaningful conversations with Residents and their loved ones (if applicable) to learn more about their life story and encourage them to become involved in activities at the Community
- Assisting in ensuring the provision of high-quality services for the Residents are consistent with the Well-Being Strategies
- Ongoing monitoring and continuous quality improvement
- Demonstrates an awareness of accident and injury prevention and adheres to safe work Is mindful of the psychological health and safety of our employee care partners.
- Understands the importance to conduct random ongoing audits to always ensure compliance
- Understanding as well as participation in the Emergency Management Plan, Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, and Health & Safety Wellness Strategies
- Audit and Identify any health, safety or maintenance issues, and reports/documents as required
- Participates and facilitates ongoing educational programs
- Maintain self-wellness and reduced absenteeism within the team
- Takes initiative to actively plan, develop, and implement expansion in program services
- Preparing reports/checklists/schedules as required
- Continually monitors, key measurable indicators of the daily operations
- Assist with identifying and addressing unmet needs within the Community
- Report and respond to concerns/issues as they relate to services within the Community
- Orientate and foster the development of Care Partners/volunteers/students and facilitate the development of individual and team skills
**Foundational knowledge and experience to grow from**:
- Grade 12 Diploma or recognized equivalent (required)
- Read, write, and speak fluently in English (required)
- Experience in providing housekeeping services preferred
