- Proven work experience as a Security Guard or relevant position
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques, procedures, and equipment
- Familiarity with law enforcement procedures and protocols
- Excellent observation skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations

Rate:18.00/hr

**Schedule Friday to Wednesday 38 hrs**

Friday 9p-5a

Saturday 9p-5a

Sunday 9p-5a

Monday 10p-5a

Tuesday 10p-5a

Job Summary:
Barber Collins Security Services Ltd., a reputable family-owned security service provider in Southwestern Ontario and the GTA since 1980, is seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. As a Security Guard at Barber Collins, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' properties and assets while upholding our commitment to exceptional customer service.

Barber Collins Security is looking for a Full Time Security guard to work in a 2 building apartment complex in Kitchener

**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment
- Conduct surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security equipment
- Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies to prevent unauthorized access or activities
- Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances
- Provide assistance to customers, employees, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate records of security-related incidents
- **Must be able to commit to minimum 1 year**:

- **Physical fitness and the ability to stand or walk up and down stairs for long periods of time**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week

Licence/Certification:

- Security Guard Licence (required)
