As the Hardgoods Warehouse Coordinator, you work as part of the Hardgoods Team as the individual responsible for the receiving, unloading, organizing, pricing, pulling of products and general maintenance in the warehouse. This involves a high amount of communication with team members for coordinating the flow of products in and out of the warehouse. This role works closely with the Inventory Specialist and all levels of the Hardgoods team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Maintains a clean, organized, and well-kept warehouse, ensuring all departmental products are properly stored.
- Monitors daily warehouse operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety standards are met.
- Accurately enter product information into the computer system, ensuring correct quantities and codes are recorded for reliable inventory tracking.
- Receives and unloads shipments, verifies product accuracy, inspects items, and reports any damage to the Inventory Control Specialist.
- Moves and stocks products manually, including gathering and handpicking items from lists.
- Communicates with Hardgoods Manager regarding stock, storage space, and expected and/or received shipments.
- Collaborates with the Inventory Team and Hardgoods Manager on new stock, reporting damages or other concerns.
- Oversee and support seasonal team members, including training on warehouse processes, assigning daily tasks, and ensuring they have the tools and guidance needed to work efficiently.
- Communicates with Floor Associates regarding restocking needs and responds to inquiries about warehouse stock.
- Performs routine inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Transports prepared and priced products to the storefront for restocking shelves and displays.
- Coordinates with other departments to determine spacing and use of equipment in the warehouse.
- Continuously identifies opportunities to improve warehouse workflows, storage solutions, and operational efficiency.
- Fosters positive relationships with team members and other Daymakers to support a collaborative work environment.
- Work in compliance with all human resources, operational (SOP) and Food, Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Support other tasks or projects as directed by a manager.

**Knowledge, Skills & Personal Attributes**

- Basic math skills
- Strong spatial awareness and visual organization skills
- Comfortable operating a pump jack, lift truck, forklift and working at heights on a ladder/portable stairs
- Excellent time management skills and ability to manage frequent interruptions
- Adaptability to a continuously changing work environment
- Transportation plan; Heeman’s is not located on a bus route

**Education, Experience & Language**
- 2+ years’ experience working in a warehouse or inventory control role
- Language: English (written and oral)

**Availability**
- **Availability to work before and after regular hours and during all hours of operation (which will include evening and weekends)
- Availability of working up to 6 days per week
- Flexibility to accommodate scheduling changes
- Open availability for peak season (May 1st -31st)
