- Job Title: SDET - Automation
Location: Vancouver, Canada, (On-Site)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Automation Development:
Leverage tools like Rest Assured for API testing automation.- Frameworks and Tools:
Design and implement test frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Maintain and improve existing test automation frameworks for both UI and API testing.- Behavior Driven Development (BDD):
Work with BDD methodology, using tools like Cucumber to create test cases in collaboration with the development and business teams.- Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD):
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support faster and more frequent code releases.
Ensure that tests are executed automatically as part of the CI/CD process to catch issues early in the development cycle.- Collaboration & Mentorship:
Work closely with the development, QA, and product teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
Mentor junior team members and help them improve their skills in test automation.
- Must-Have Skills:

- Selenium/Java or Playwright/Java: Strong experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright (for browser automation) in conjunction with Java.
- Rest Assured: Hands-on experience with Rest Assured for testing REST APIs.
- BDD: Experience working with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using tools like Cucumber.
- CI/CD: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices, including integration of test automation into pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, etc.)
