Material Handler

Duties include:
- Physical movement of product within the factory to work centers or part locations. Job order
kitting and material movement activities.- Work closely with planning and manufacturing supervisors to keep job orders on schedule.- Advise Production and Purchasing of material outages.- Verify inventories and part locations as required.- Support the Company goal of Zero Lost Time accidents through safe work practices and use
of required safety equipment.- Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in material handling or similar work environment.- Mechanical aptitude.- Knowledge of ERP or MRP systems is an asset.- Reasonable English speaking, reading, and comprehension is required for training, understanding instructions and safety orientation.- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift 50lbs on occasion without assistance.- Time management and prioritization skills.- Familiarity with LEAN principles is an asset.
