Messaging Specialist

**Description**
Our Client is seeking a Senior Messaging Specialist to support various IT services: Exchange Online, MS Teams support, M365 security, Exchange Online Protection, and others. Responsibilities will include request fulfillment, change management, incident management, communications, and development of documentation.
Work must be done from within Canada during regular Alberta business hours, due to network and data security issues.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- Experience supporting a large and complex Exchange 2016 environment or Exchange Online environment. (5+ years)
- Experience with Microsoft architecture, installation and administration in a multi-server environment. (5+ years)
- Experience supporting Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment. (3+ years)
- Experience supporting M365 security related services like anti-spam, anti-phishing, access management. (3+ years)
- Ability and willingness to work evenings and/or weekends and/or during blocktime/change windows outside of normal business hours.
**Nice To Have Skills**
- Experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Teams (1+ year)
- Experience with AntiSpam Administration. (3+ years)
- Experience in a large and complex domain environment. (3+ years)
- Experience performing access management activities to Microsoft 365 tenants. (2+ years)
- Experience performing Information Management related activities like litigation hold, e-discovery, retention schedules for M365 services. (1+ year)
- Experience migrating from an on premise Skype for Business environment to Microsoft Teams. (2+ years)
- Experience implementing or supporting cloud platforms or products. (2+ years)
- Experience supporting bulk mail delivery solutions (1+ year)
**Location**
- Edmonton/Remote
**Work Environment**
- 1 year with 1 possible 6-month extension
**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
