Description

In your role as an Avionics Systems Integrator/ Technician, you will:
Be working throughout the lifecycle of the a/c system development phases: from the concept & design (e.g requirements definition, supplier selection), to the validation of the design, to the verification, the certification, the entry in-service and the support in production / in-service. It is critical for these resources to be familiar with aircraft airworthiness regulations and have experience with the certification of avionics (safety-critical) systems i.e. they must be knowledgeable about FAR, CAR and CS regulations etcand be familiar with all aspect of aircraft safety development standards.

We are specifically looking for people having an experience in the following avionics domains: Navigation (ATA34), Communications (ATA23) and Integrated Modular Avionics (ATA42) - This said the other domains AFCS (ATA22), Indication / Recording Systems (ATA31) and Information Systems (ATA46) and Onboard Maintenance Systems (ATA45) will also be considered
- You hold a post secondary degree in Avionics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years experience.
- Strong knowledge of Avionics Systems.
- You understand how these systems integrate and interact to the overall aircraft.
- Knowledge and/or Experience on Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA) systems (Asset).
- You have knowledge with the specification, design, integration, test, and certification of Avionics systems on aircraft.
- You are familiar with the industry standards DO-178, DO-160, DO-254 and ARP4754 (Asset).
- You have strong communication skills (verbal and written).
- You have excellent problem-solving skills, work planning structure and prioritization.
- You have the ability to work well in a team environment.
- You are willing to travel.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
