**Position Overview**:
**Job Title: Marina Manager**

**Location**: Regina Beach Yacht Club, Regina Beach, Saskatchewan

The Regina Beach Yacht Club (RBYC) is a private marina club offering over 100 mooring slips, a clubhouse, private beach, and various recreational amenities. We are dedicated to fostering a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable atmosphere for all members and their guests. **Key Responsibilities**:
**Marina Operations**:
Oversee the docking, storage, and maintenance of boats.

Dock Installation and Removal:
Coordinate and participate in the seasonal installation and removal of docks.

Ensure docks are secure, safe, and properly maintained throughout the season.

Buoy Installation and Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain buoys to ensure safe navigation for marina users.

Ensure the safety and security of both the member’s and marina vessels, as well as all Club facilities. Provide hands-on support to members with their boats, including minor repairs, docking, and launching assistance.

Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of the marina, equipment, and facilities.

Assist customers with launching and retrieving boats.

Manage seasonal and long-term boat storage operations.

**Mechanical and Maintenance Duties**:
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on boats and marina equipment.

Operate and maintain boat trailers and hauling equipment.

Conduct regular inspections to identify and address mechanical issues promptly.

**Property Management**:
Oversee the maintenance of marina facilities, including the clubhouse, docks, and recreational areas. Maintain marina grounds, ensuring they are clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Coordinate with vendors and contractors for repairs and services as needed.

Gas Sales Management: Oversee fuel sales, inventory, and safety protocols. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations.

**Staff Management**:
Recruit, train, and supervise marina staff. Provide proper training of all club owned vessels and machinery.

Foster a positive work environment and ensure excellent customer service.

**Administrative Duties**:
Report directly to the General Manager

Develop and adhere to budgets for marina operations and maintenance.

Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.

Implement current marina policies and procedures.

Ensure compliance with all local, provincial, and federal regulations, as well as adherence to club bylaws, policies, and procedures.

Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the safety and security of members, staff, and club assets.

Opportunities for training and certifications to further enhance your skills in marina management and boating safety.

**Qualifications**:
Extensive experience in boating, including mechanical repairs and maintenance.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.

Proficiency in trailering and hauling boats.

Valid driver’s & boating license is required.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent customer service and communication abilities.

Extensive knowledge of marina operations and property management.

Ability to work extraordinary hours on-site at the RBYC during the boating season. April 15-October 15th.

**Compensation**:
Salary or hourly wage based on experience. Benefits and perks will be discussed during the hiring process.
